Top Multiplayer games you can play with a single iPad

Looking for some games to play with your mates or keep the whole family entertained? There are a heap of iPad games out there, all longing, for your attention. Hidden amongst them are some fun games you can play together with others on a single screen by playing split screen or in turns. Here are our faviouates (and are all family friendly)

  1. Scrabble and Monopoly

Bored of board games? The iPad reinvents playing these classic games. Best of all you can play them anywhere. I’ve fund myself playing them with friends while in the car, train and campsites. If you run out of time playing, your game is instantly saved so you can resume playing another day.

  2. Fruit Ninja

In this popular game, the iPad screen is split in half. Both players compete at the same time to slice apart the flying fruit with finger karate chops against the clock. It’s great fun watching your scores race against each other as you franticly swipe the screen. The fact that this game is so easy to pick up means you can have a toddler and a grandparent battling together in no time.

  3. Mirror’s Edge

Swipe your fingers to duck, dodge, dive and jump across city rooftops in this on-the-rails racer. The graphics are superb and really show off the power of the iPad. Simular to Fruit Ninja the screen is split in half. A very high paced game which would be most popular with teenagers.

  4. Chu Chu Rocket

his is one of my favourite games ever, It’s an old Dreamcast game from 2001 which plays perfectly on iPad. The game sounds crazy and confusing. Lead the mice to your rocket to gain points. Lead the cats to your opponent’s rocket to loose them points. The game is so frantic with unexpected advantages given to any players at any time. Watch this YouTube videoto see it for yourself.

  5. Marble Mixer

Flicking marbles into a rotating monster’s mouth. What could be more fun? The presentation of this game isĀ gorgeousĀ and is great fun for small kids. There are plenty of variations to the game modes to keep you entertained for a while.

  6. Flight Control
Take the role of an air traffic controller. Compete against a friend to route the planes and helicopters to the airports. watch out! This game may start easy but you’ll be darting planes all over the screen to avoid collisions and your aircrafts safely.

We asked for Luke to come in for a training day with our staff since we were taking over the running of a Mac office and all had very little experience of using them. We found the half a day of training exceptionally useful. We were taught basic things, however we could already see that they would greatly increase our productivity and understanding of how to get the best out of using the Mac computers. The session was the best of both worlds of being taught the basics that we were lacking but without going too basic and wasting time. Will definitely be getting Luke back in again soon!

Thank you Luke for sorting out all my Apple issues! Luke was able to set up my multiple computers, phones and iPads with home and business email and calendar accounts. I have used his services multiple times and he always knows what to do, from printers, wifi and fix any issues whenever my Mac breaks or I need help with Office apps. Highly recommended.
