Are you wondering what days national holidays fall on this year? Displaying holidays on your Mac’s calendar is easy, and they’ll transfer over to your iPad and iPhone too. The holidays calendar will also show other key dates so you’ll never forget Mothers Day again, Palm Sunday or when the Battle of Boyne took place (everyone knows that right?).
To turn on the Holidays calendar, Open the Calendar app and select Preferences from the calendar menu at the top of the screen. Once the preferences window opens, turn on the option for ‘Show Holidays calendar at the bottom of the window.
If you would like to subscribe to other holiday calendars on your Mac (Such as other countries), you can find them on the iCalShare website. They even update automatically every year so that all the dates are up-to-date.
