The new continuity features of OSX Yosemite allow you to receive SMS messages, FaceTime and Phone calls through your Mac. For most of us this is great! It means that even if your phone is in another room or out of reach, you still won’t miss any calls if you’re sitting in front of your Mac.
However maybe you’d rather turn this feature off. Looking around in your Mac’s System Preferences won’t find you the answer. Apple have hid iPhone calls elsewhere.
Follow these steps to turn off ‘Calls from iPhone’ on your Mac.
- Go to Finder > Applications > FaceTime
- From the Menu Bar select FaceTime > Preferences
- Uncheck the box labeled ‘Calls from iPhone’
